Nigrelli's Jewelry was established by Joseph Nigrelli Sr. in 1947. Joe learned his trade at the Kansas City School of Watchmaking.

Joe opened his store in Downtown, Westerly RI. Where he specialized in watch repair. Joe's mother, Theresa, would come in during lunch time to help out. This turned into a full time position for her that lasted over the next 50 years, until her death at age 102. Over the years, Joe's 3 young sons joined the business. Joe Jr. in 1973, William in 1976 and David 1990.

The boys developed their talents over the years. To become one of the finest jewelry and watch services in the area. They excel in all phases of jewelry repair, ring sizing, stone setting, restoration work, hand engraving and computerized engraving, as well as all makes of watch repair. (including mechanical, automatic, chronograph, and quartz)
